The money pie is only so big. The more of the pie 3 players demand the less pie there is for everyone else to have. The solution I see Burrow and a few of his fans advocate? Take even more pie from someone else 4 or 5 years down the road so the guys on the team in 4-5 years have less pie as well. Sure the salary cap will be higher in a few years but at the same time so will the salary of the players you will need to pay.
