It's really impossible to know the absolute truth, as the Bengals are so secretive about every littlest thing they do. Yeah, we occasionally hear a little tidbit about what actually transpired in the war room, several years down the line.

Mike Brown keeps coming up in these draft and FA conversations. I just don't see MB studying FA or draft prospects at his age. To provide input, you need knowlwdge and maybe I am wrong, but I think the decision makersc for player asqusitions are Duke, Pete Brown, Katie, Todd and Zac. I think Katie plays a bigger role in the final decision especially in FA than many want to believe.
