Technically they don't owe the families of the players anything but seriously it is the easiest and least expensive item to fix. It is not hard to take some area near the family section of Paycor and turn it into a family retreat room. It is easy to build a comfortable family waiting area near the home locker room. Make someone in the front office the family liaison person to help new families acclimate to Cincinnati and plan family events. It isn't rocket science.
And frankly either is the food service issue. Granted it will take more money to invest in a better nutrition program but in the end it benefits the team as well as the player.
