You have practice, position meetings, team meetings, film room, weight room, media, and treatment both preventative and rehab... with breaks, meals, showers, etc, in between. Not counting community outreach and appearance stuff.
It's also not JUST open for the players. It's also open for all the coaches and staff, and keep in mind the physical trainers have to be there before the first player of the day (to get ready) and after the last player of the day (to clean up). We all know coaches work absurd hours.
