Also, time of possession matters. NE won in that, too (34:03 to 25:57). Which is obviously going to happen when you can’t stop the run, and turn the ball over multiple times.
But I get it, we just need Joe to ball out to start better. If last season proved anything it’s that we tend to win most of the time when he does.
Yep. Cinci. could not stop the run and couldn't stop the quarterback running and get the ball back when they needed to. I actually felt like New England could have scored more points if they pushed the pedal to the metal.
