Yea, agree. I did find one example after posting this, there still are likely others. Emmanuel Sanders going from Pitt to Denver (manning). So it’s possible, but it’s the exception and not the rule, kind of like finding a Brady/Purdy in the seventh round.
One thing to note about Sanders going to Denver, he had ridiculous target share that he previously didn’t see in Pitt… but he did it.
You can go look at almost (emphasis on almost) every FA WR over the last half dozen years and it would be hard to find a successful story where they outpaced previous career production, by any significant margin.
