You guys need to get ready for the possibility that we don’t sign Tee OR Trey

Murphy- hasn’t proven his worth yet
Hill- after 4 years he’s just okay
William Jackson- 1 good year
Darquez Dennard- bust
Dre Kirkpatrick- a lot like CTB, up and down and not all that good
Keith rivers- lmao bust
Leon Hall- he was good
Jonathan Joseph- he was even better

Sadly this is why I’m for keeping Tee. Because we actually hit on a draft pick, and not just like, oh he’s an nfl starter. He’s actually really good.

I’m not stupid, I know that signing a $30M wr2 who has injury issues is a luxury we can’t afford. But sadly, we more so cant afford to lose top talent when there isn’t much historical evidence that the Bengals front office can sign or draft talent as good as Tee Higgins. We’ve obviously hit in the draft, but lately we’ve been missing pretty big and it’s affected the roster and you can see it with the record and state of the roster.

Most of those picks listed were in the Marvin era.. now how much do our coaches influence the draft I'm not sure.

Free Agency is going to dictate everyones drafting decisions so it's really hard to even see the direction they go until that shakes out.  But I don't think just because in the past they haven't hit as often as we like that they don't go Defense... Bengals aren't the only team in the league to not hit on their picks.
