It’s hard to find players in their peak, switch teams and go from a player, like dalton, to a player like burrow. But here are three examples of similarly, or more, productive receivers and how they were before/after. The WR makes a QB better. The QB doesn’t have a direct correlation to the WR productivity.
HOF WR 1
123 catches -1,553 yards -11TD (probowl, first team all pro)
100 catches - 1,516 yards - 14TD (probowl, first team all pro)
One season he was catching passes from an MVP Super Bowl winning QB, the next was from an Andy Daltonish kind of QB.
HOF WR 2
111 catches - 1,239 yards - 9 TD (Probowl)
119 catches - 1,710 yards - 7 TD (Probowl, first team all pro)
One season he was catching passes from an MVP Super Bowl winning QB, the next was from an Andy Daltonish kind of QB.
HOF WR 3
67 catches - 1,157 yards - 8 TD (Probowl)
70 catches - 1,006 yards - 13 TD
One season he was catching passes from an Andy DaltonishbQB, the next was from an MVP Super Bowl winning QB.
