That's why I like my philosophy.

Each round 1-3 gets 1 extra year to develop before you force them into a heavy role to see if they sink or swim.

I'd expect a 1st rounder being a heavy contributor with solid-or-better production by Year 2, if not as a rookie.
I'd expect a 2nd rounder to do the same by Year 3.
I'd expect a 3rd rounder to do the same by their final year under rookie contract, Year 4.
Day 3 picks are pure depth, roll-the-dice, or ST guys.

But eventually you gotta give these early draft picks a chance.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. Ended 9-8 but barely missed playoffs

Changes needed to do better in Sept/Oct moving forward.
