BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded

It would be interesting to see about getting Kyle Pitts back with a mid round pick to go with him. Pitts has one year left to prove he can do something and I think the upside is there especially in our offense. Everyone will immediately jump to the Commanders and Jonathan Allen which does make some sense but I think he gets cut and takes a lower contract then his current one. If not, I'd be open to it but I'd still want another pick back probably later.

The concern I have with Jonathan Allen is his numbers have been down the last 2 years and he is now 30 years old.  I would rather sign Milton Williams who is 25 coming off his rookie contract and appears to have an upward trajectory.

I would not trade Hendrickson for Pitts and a mid round pick.  That's not enough value in return for the NFL's sack leader.  Pitts by himself would garner what in a trade?  Maybe a mid round pick?  You would essentially be trading Hendrickson for 2 mid round picks.
