Im not going to crap on the guy just because he’s probably going elsewhere. I will miss Trey and loved watching his effort/production since they signed him. He’s not the best vs the run but getting after the QB is what gets you paid these days and it’s a passing league. He has a very desirable talent that they are not going to replace with just one guy. They need to get 2 good pass rushing ends to replace the great one who’s leaving.
I think the issue is that whether you agree with this decision or not, no Bengals fan has any faith that this front office will take the r necessary steps to keep improving the team. They could trade Tee and Trey and make their team better but I have no faith that they would sign the necessary guys to make that happen.
They will start Murphy and whoever they draft at the end positions instead of signing a (couple of?) vet to help with the rush. I think they will for sure take an edge rusher in round one so they have tipped their hand there.
