Sure, Trey was known for his 57 sacks in 4 seasons with the Bengals, but in the same time span he also logged 56 TFL, and 112 QB hits when not making the sack. There's no way to rationalize his likely departure away with "well, he wasn't that good against the run". As noted by his snap counts, they don't ask him to defend the run that often because you want your best pass rusher fresh to do what he does best.
