BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded

However, it's not like he "sucks" at defending the run, as evidenced by his TFL total, that just about matches his sack total. Sure, teams are going to sneak runs at him because they know the down and distance situation and know he's coming for the QB.

To put it in a different context, Sam Hubbard is widely regarded as being tough versus the run. In Sam's 7 year career, he accumulated exactly 55 TFL, just one less than Trey did over the past 4 years with the Bengals.

That is surprising honestly on the numbers, but I don't know how many times Trey couldn't set the edge in the run game. Might need some
context there and how the TFL's happened. I actually think he was a little better last year at stopping the run, but I wouldn't say he was good
at it. But you are right, he doesn't suck at stopping the run as the numbers show.

When Sam was healthy, he was one of the best at setting the edge.

Goalpost asked for the PFF grades. I am not defending the FO, I am just not freaking out about not paying Trey who is on the wrong side of
30, 35 million dollars a year...
