Going to see how this plays out but I feel like I already know. Just a moron for thinking they would be different this time seeing what Burrow could do. If we do not try to win now when will we? Never is the answer.

I don't trust this FO to sign the right players and draft the right players. I'm tired of the penny pinching and using outdated methods on building rosters.
The thing is, they could have just overpaid Tee and Chase and Tre last year and fast forward to this year and it looks like quite a deal. Now their stock is up even more and they are having to pay more.
They have no clue what they are doing.
Every year there is something I can point to where they are royally screwing up.
Their top 4 players are extremely talented. You could make an argument for their top 3 being best in the league at their respective positions.
But yet they fail to lock them up despite not having anyone else noteworthy on their roster to sign. They continue to flop in the draft. It’s just ridiculous and it’s been tough to watch them take possibly the best quarterback in the league and fail to put the right pieces around him to compete for championships.
Contrast that with other coaches/organizations that are maximizing what they have (i.e. Hurts, Goff, Stafford, Mahomes, Lamar).
It’s hard to watch. The bengals Super Bowl window was two years despite the organization failing to put an offensive line in front of him those years. Then they let the defense fall apart after that and we need a rebuild on defense which means our next Super Bowl window is two years away if they don’t screw something else up.
Other organizations are maximizing their quarterbacks by building a great team around them (making their jobs easier than they have to be).
The bengals have made Burrow’s job harder than it needed to be every year—including the year (Burrow injured his knee) they were out of the playoffs and decided to throw the ball 80% of the time in meaningless games behind an offensive line with no halfway decent starters.
