BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded

I knew players could go free agent.  I never knew players make their own trades to other teams. I thought team owners and GM's agree on trades.  I've never heard of a player doing his own trade before.  I have the feeling Bengals and another team would still have to agree on a trade and go through all the legal lawyer paperwork.  It seems to me with Tobin wanting both Higgins and Chase long term as 2 of the highest paid WR;s in NFL, that the trade of Hendrickson if done would be for a Draft Pick or Draft Picks.  With Hubbard retiring and talk of trading Hendrickson, new D Coach Golden will have The Worst defense in NFL to rebuild, no easy task. They may have to give him every draft pick because The D is so awful.
