If Hendrickson finds a team willing to pay him the salary and guarantees he wants and make a trade with the Bengals, then I see two likely scenarios for the Bengals: either they will give Trey that salary and guarantees or they will trade him for less than his value rather than have a disgruntled member of the team all season.
If Trey gets a huge offer and guarantees and doesn't have to worry about injury hurting his market value -- he's set up for the rest of his career -- he would be really pissed to have the Bengals tell him to just play the year on his current one-year remaining and risk injury and losing it all. He probably would tell them he's sitting out the season. Given that, the Bengals would probably take less than his value in a trade.
