BREAKING: Bengals give Trey Hendrickson permission to be traded

All year long it seemed to me that the offense was significantly different when he was on the field or not. We all have our opinions on who should have priority to keep.

I'd hate to see Hendrickson go as he might be my favorite Bengal. High character individual and comes to play day in and day out. Lot of respect for him and it will be a big loss.

That said, I'm holding judgement until this all plays out.

Bengals have proven even with Trey getting 14-17 sacks each of the past 2 seasons, that they can still finish 3rd and last in the division. Unless they're adept at developing a player(s) oppo Trey, (which they haven't done) or willing to spend the $$ in FA on an established DE (which I really doubt they do as long as TH is there) , then, yes, I'd rather they sign Tee.

Other than a ton of interest by other teams in Trey, we have no idea if they want to pay him Crosby type numbers or even close to that, or if they would pony up the draft picks that Cinci. covets. TH could still be playing DE for Cinci. next season.
