I'm in agreement with you. I think some team will offer him a much better deal than the Bengals are offering and will offer the Bengals a draft pick below Hendrickson's value and the Bengals will take the trade. Once Hendrickson has a good offer on the table the Bengals will not want a disgruntled player on the team, will not want other players upset how Hendrickson is being treated if the Bengals refuse the trade, and will not want a year where Hendrickson sits out. And thus they will take a below-market trade. The one scenario where I think the Bengals can decline such a trade and everyone will understand (players, Hendrickson, overall optics) is if it is a trade to an AFC competitor.
