That is a horrible deal for the NFL sack leader. I wouldnt let Trey go for anything less than a 1st. A 1st + late 2nd/early 3rd make sense. A 2nd or 3rd by itself doesnt.
The draft is a crap shoot for teams even with 1st round draft picks. Guys dont come into the NFL producing at Trey's level. It usually takes some time even if you do get the pick right. What 1st round pick has put up 17 sacks his first, second or third year? You use a 1st round pick hoping to find a guy that eventually works out to be Trey Hendrickson. You dont get that production right away. You want that production right now? I say the Bengals should demand a 1st round pick
