This one was tough. I've been a fan since '79. I've seen some ups and plenty of downs. I felt good about this game going in. I was in Florida with one of my daughters for a field hockey tournament and the other parents all know I'm a Bengals fan. Had a lot of people in my corner.
As luck would have it, it was also my birthday Saturday and there would be no better gift than a victory. Thought they had the game won only to witness that ending. All the parents felt bad for me Sunday, but the one who really put it into perspective was my 15 year old. She looked at me yesterday on the way to the airport and simply said "It's just a game Daddy." Message received.
