The browns overpaying Garrett in and of itself is not a problem for the bungles. Indirectly, again, it becomes one bc Tobin already told God & the world that Chase would be the highest-paid non-QB. So we either don’t extend him or we do, at an amount significantly higher than they could have 8 months ago and even higher than it would have been yesterday.

This, of course, leaves less money to go around elsewhere, which means it’s highly likely there’s no Tee.

But yay draft picks, right? Yeah, ‘cept this franchise can’t draft.

Maybe they pull it off. We’ll see. There is no historical precedent that suggests they will.
