Indirectly, again, it becomes one bc Tobin already told God & the world that Chase would be the highest-paid non-QB. So we either don’t extend him or we do, at an amount significantly higher than they could have 8 months ago and even higher than it would have been yesterday.
This, of course, leaves less money to go around elsewhere, which means it’s highly likely there’s no Tee.
But yay draft picks, right? Yeah, ‘cept this franchise can’t draft.
Maybe they pull it off. We’ll see. There is no historical precedent that suggests they will.
Yes, said so last year before the season that Ja'Marr was going to be the best WR in the NFL and we were going to have to pay him more
than Justin Jefferson, well, looks like a lot more now as Duke said what he said. Big mistake after mistake here with Ja'Marr. I still think they
get it done with Ja'Marr and I think Trey comes back and signs the 32 mil offer we evidently gave him but he refused, but all of this could of
been handled much better.
What the Stains do wouldn't normally change what we do except Duke said what he said and he has to hold to his word now.
4 years 168 million for Ja'Marr sounds closer to what we will be seeing.
