The Bengals should have got the Chase deal done as soon as they were out of the playoffs. Instead they wait and wait and wait. Meanwhile other teams sign their guys and each player tries to up the next in highest contract. Crosby wants to be the highest paid non QB he gets it. Garrett wants to be the highest paid non QB he gets the money and the top end keeps rising. Now the Bengals are looking at 40+ million a year to sign Chase. I dont know what it is Katie and the rest of the front office doesnt understand. When you wait and let everyone sign before you, you let other teams dictate the top of the market.
