Edit: Although re-reading it, you were responding to my comment that it is "possible that Tee doesn't sign the tag until the end of preseason" and you're response to that, which you highlighted, was "Tee has no choice." But clearly he has a choice to not sign until the end of the preseason and he still wouldn't lose any game checks.
