Bengals are nowhere close to deals with Trey, Tee or Ja'Marr

Depends on what you mean by getting fleeced in a trade. They had an offer for what, a second round pick for AJ McCarron and they asked for more and it fell through, so I'd say they really blew that one, for example.  Turning down an entire draft so you can take Akili Smith would have gotten a normal GM ultra-fired, too.

Fleeced?  Ehh no I guess not, but they can afford to miss out on a lot of value because they can't get fired and they're usually negotiating with people who can.  Mike Brown has walked a way from a lot of good offers in his 35 or so years as GM because he can get away with it.  The guy was born into this job, he's never going to have to get fleeced any more than he's ever going to have to scrub a toilet.  He can just say "no go."
