Fleeced? Ehh no I guess not, but they can afford to miss out on a lot of value because they can't get fired and they're usually negotiating with people who can. Mike Brown has walked a way from a lot of good offers in his 35 or so years as GM because he can get away with it. The guy was born into this job, he's never going to have to get fleeced any more than he's ever going to have to scrub a toilet. He can just say "no go."
No accountability always has been a problem around here no doubt about that.
