But generally the longer a player waits the less money a team has to play around with. Maybe he’s waiting for a team to restructure one of their stars to free up cap space ?
My guess though is that he needs to be medically cleared first.

We have 20 million left in cap space. It is a myth we need restructures or new contracts NOW TO SPEND ON A FREE AGENT.
