If we had other players (draft picks) that hit, we probably wouldn’t sign Tee. If CTB, Hill, Carter, Carmen Jackson, Murphy, etc were all playing extremely well, we would probably prioritize a balanced roster. But the truth is we don’t have anyone to sign.

Most of picks have been misses/busts/underwhelming. We decided to retain a highly talented 25 year old. One who helps the team win games. Based on all the realistic options, we needed to sign him.

This is also the argument for not to sign Tee long term. Now we have to hit on these picks and the FO did nothing (update scout(ing) department) to signal a change in philosophy or renewed focus on scouting that it would require to suddenly start hitting on picks (that aren't top 5) again. 

Hitting on picks is what got Eagles the Championship. KC did it the Patriots way by not holding on to the SB winning players and letting talent go every year. 

We are banking on the Eagles route and we'll just have to wait and see if suddenly something changes with the draft.
