The person responsible for the name change and in charge of the checkbook deserves the credit for the culture change. By all accounts that’s Katie and Troy Blackburn. Because otherwise, this team would be no better or worse off than during the Marvin era.
I agree. They are a big part of it as well. I think they knew they had to change. They took a young guy from a winning program (Rams) and took his input. Much like he seems to take players input into account. I'll admit I didn't like the hire, but I feel he's been a good fit with the players, owners, and fans. Guy just seems to get it.
What I'm concerned about is the holes now. Guard, edge rusher, backup running back, Safety depth, line backers, corner backs. We have lots of holes to fix with only 6 draft picks and slim free agent pickings. June cuts may be big for this team and young players have to step it up.
