I think his slow starts are less about injury and more about a lack of tape on the opposition. His superpower is knowing what the opposition D is doing. He doesn’t know that until there’s enough tape out there.
Slow starts are something we’ll need to learn to live with. That may mean relying more on the D and the running game in September, even October.
