Basically, he said he's a 1 trick pony, unlike the other EDs and LBs that rush the passer. 

Even if so, it's no denying Hendrickson's run defense is (far) behind his pass rushing ability.
Rushing the passer pays well more than stopping the run.
But as I said, Hendrickson's run defense is ok.
What doesn't make sense though is saying he never disengages from his guy.
You do have to disengage sometimes (often?) when rushing the passer too lol.
