It's not a game plan that has any chance of success, so for practical purposes, no, it's not a real game plan.

Only 4 teams in the last 20 years (so just 4/640) averaged at least 35.0 points per game. They went 5-4 in the playoffs and none of them won the SB. (3 of the 4 gave up 37+ points in the playoff games they lost.)
