It just means Chase used his leverage (with the assistance of public pressure from Burrow, plus the media making fun of the Bengals as long as they didn't get the Chase deal done) to strongarm the Bengals FO into a both-or-neither deal (for better or worse, we'll see). He got deals done with plenty of other teams. When seemingly every other agent in existence is "the problem" when it comes to dealing with the Bengals FO, perhaps, just maybe, it's the one consistent that's the problem.
I've said it before... while Chase and his agent said it was a both or neither deal publicly, if the Bengals had not wanted to sign Tee there is simply no way Chase would have walked away from signing his deal, which made him the highest paid non-QB in the league. None, zilch, nada chance. And Mulugheta or whatever his name is, is a known difficult agent. If Trey wants a new deal, he should probably have hired Rocky as well. Either way, the Bengals will reach an agreement with him on an extension. I have zero doubt about that.
