Maybe I am mis-remembering with Trey, but I know he made public comments about a holdout the last time around. But I think that his multiple times going on McAfee to discuss this contract situation and really being honest about that he's frustrated and not very happy, makes this a different situation. He's normally just a quiet guy that just goes about his business, and not that he is yelling into a microphone, but he's clearly sending a strong public message (which I don't blame him for).
And then you combine that with how, for the first time really this year, we saw Joe Burrow (normally a quiet and pretty reserved guy himself) come out and air his own grievances publicly in press conferences, and apply pressure on the front office, it just really leads me to think that something is deeply flawed in this front office.
And while this is old news to pretty much everyone on here, and probably in the NFL, it's just getting worse because now we have multiple players going this route, all at the same time, and it just tells you how wrong things seem to be going behind the scenes.
