I bought Bases Loaded 2 on the NES for 39.99 back in 1992.  The price stuck with me cause I charged 1 dollar a lawn on base and when I cut 40 lawns and went to the store my dad (drill sergeant at the time) gave me a hard time for not factoring in tax.  

Anyways, according to chatgpt, that game would be 79.58 today, so it seems relatively fair I think.

not for what nintendo offers at least for me.

And its 80/90 for their premier games apparently
