It's because they were playing against the 30th ranked pass defense. Dude just chucked up some jump balls. One got INT, one got a PI, and one got caught and a missed tackle made a TD. He also missed a lot of wide open people 10 or so yards away by like 2-3 yards. Made the OL look terrible by holding onto the ball too long.
Bengals have never had that good of a defensive showing in the playoffs, which is the key point of the game, not the 4 turnover offense that was passing at 5.17 YPA.
