And no, you don't keep a subpar player because they stay generally healthy over a guy who would be an upgrade for 10-15 games a year just because he may miss a few games.
Except Patrick is probably playing right guard for Cappa. So that leaves Ford and whoever we draft. And Ford is apt to be playing tackle at any time when one of the bookends gets hurt. Don't get me wrong, I want to upgrade Volson as well, but we can't cut him until we have something better to replace him with should several linemen get hurt at the same time.
