Pally sadly many who have responded in this thread probably blew off that important point. He was hurt in August and did not return until I think week 5. Then, the question lingers was he 100%. Was he 100% at any point in the season.
The link also goes into loss of McKinnley Jackson. A 2nd year player and a rookie missed time due to injuries, yet our fans trash them or in this thread can't wait to diss on any player who says and seems to be trying to do the right thing

Bengals clear Myles Murphy and McKinnley Jackson to practice
Both players have been out for the last month
Murphy has been on the IR list and designated for return since August 27th with a knee injury, while Jackson has been on the list since August 29th with a knee injury.
Today starts a 21-day period in which both players may practice with the team without counting against the 53-player active roster. Both can be activated to the roster at any time during that period.
This is huge news for a Bengals defensive line that’s been wiped out by injuries, the latest being a neck injury for defensive end Trey Hendrickson. It’s unclear if he’ll miss games, and if he does, Murphy’s return just became much more important.
As for Jackson, he can hopefully address a shortage at defensive tackle following injuries to Sheldon Rankins and BJ Hill.
