so I think at the very least they can good in this aspect, we will see how they develop especially now that they have a new DL coach in Montgomery.

Never liked Hobby and how he developed DL.

When I think of a nose tackle's job, I think of a DT that occupies two gaps. Usually over center, taking on double teams from the center + a guard.

McKinnley is a one gap penetrating DT. It led to a fair number of run stops in college, but I don't think he has the same skill set as DJ Reader does.

Maybe I'm wrong and he'll develop the ability to control 2 gaps. But, for now, I consider Slayton our 2 gapping NT and then we have a bunch of 1 gap DTs to fill up the depth chart.
