My final mock 4/22
#2
(Yesterday, 06:31 PM)schroomytunes Wrote: Ok with the addition of Moss here's my final mock:

1) James Pearce Jr  EDGE (Tennessee) - 6'5 240- has the speed on the edge to rush and contain the outside, perfect complement for the AFC North.

2) Xavier Watts -S (ND)- 6'0 205, has the size and skills to excel in the back end, knows Golden's system, upgrades a serious hole.

3) Chris Paul Jr. WLB (Mississippi) 6'1 225. speedy sideline to sideline LB, Perfect addition to Wilson, Burks, Pratt

4) Jalen Rivers G (Miami) 6'6 320, solid, massive IOL, who can play either Guard position or Tackle in a pinch.

5) Mitchell Evans TE (ND) 6'5 260. good size and all around TE prospect, instantly becomes #2 on depth chart.

6) Tim Smith DT (Alabama) 6'4 305. good rotational guy, plugs holes solid tackler.

-- they then probably sing one of the available guards on the FA market. as well as land a RB via the UDFA route

Tackling: He had a 12.8% missed tackle rate and could use some refinement in his tackling technique. Age: At 24 years old, Watts will be one of the older prospects in this year's crop of safeties.

This is why I've been so big on Nick Emmanwori.

In 2024, he registered 88 tackles, with only a 7.2% missed tackle rate. His large wingspan and size afford him a wide tackle radius. Coverage: Emmanwori has the size and short-area burst to win reps in man coverage against tight ends and slot receivers.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
