But I want an OL in Rd 1 because they always go fast and picking 17 in Rd 2 we could be left out if there is a run early day 2 after more than expected go Rd 1. I also think an OL in rd 1 opens the door for later rd trade backs. But I know we desperately need a difference maker on defense so if the right one is there at 17 I'll be happy with that. A trade back in 1 is my real hope as we can get the most capital in return.
I've talked Blocking on here for years. However not this year because this Defense stinks. Also the O Line talent in this draft is questionable, but the D Talent is rich. The Bengals can get amazing young talent on Defense at DT, Edge Rusher, LB, Safety, CB in these rounds.
I agree you must protect the QB. Will you agree with me that even Burrow, Chase and Higgins can not be expected to score 50 points a game. This nonsense that the Bengals must eat clock in fear of the other team getting the ball back, the D should not be that weak. The Bengals have one of the best Offenses in NFL, but also have one of the worst Defenses in NFL. A strong Defensive Draft would help, front to back on Defense. Bengals new D Coach Golden should hang out a HIRING-HELP NEEDED sign.
Did the Eagles have a Good or Bad Defense ? It's a copy cat league. The Eagles showed The NFL is still not Touch Footy Ball. Bengals awful D needs new employees.
