Well all these top draft picks are still here so if Lou not developing them was the problem, Golden and his coaching staff should have no problem developing these guys into elite players and I guess we should expect a top tier defense this year right? Now you add in the #17 pick Stewart in addition to all the guys Lou had to work with, there should be no excuses unless the talent was never as good as you have claimed. I think what you are going to find however is the defense will be mediocre at best this year and the problem with the defense is many of these guys just arent that great. No amount of "developing" some of these guys will help. Sometimes these guys just are who they are.
