But the root cause is ownership. They act like the generation coming out of the depression. In 1950 they still think they are in it. Had they signed Trey, Tee, and Jamar sooner they’d have been fine. Had some cap space. They got aggressive in FA after Burrow tore his ACL. They got aggressive in FA defense after Taylor’s first year when they got obliterated. They’ve got to hit on more players in both FA & the draft. They aren’t.
He wasn't 100% either at the start of the season. No one even knew if he'd be able to throw the ball effectively anymore.
