I would hope that's changed since then plus he apologized after he did it, but if he had another passionate blow up since then, I could see the desire to move on.

From what I thought I heard though, he just has viewed himself and wants to be considered a 3-down LB, but Golden may not consider him to be.
I just don't view him as bad of a performer though as I think some are making him out to be.
Dude still had 80 solo tackles and 143 combined tackles last year, both the most in his career.

I personally would have gotten a DT instead of 2nd LB in the draft, but I assume Golden is far more confident in the DT room compared to the LB room based on how the draft went.

Goodberry said in his draft grades video that when Bengals were picking in the 2nd round, Knight was top of their board, Ratledge was 2nd, and Carter was actually 4th. Not sure if that was just from what he heard from someone inside or actually true, but if true, that's crazy they would have two LBs in arguably a bad LB class that high on their board as BPA at 49.
Goodberry also mentioned they had Walter Nolen higher on their board than Stewart for 17 but he went 1 pick before.

The main theme or one thing that consistently stands out with the draft and in FA is that most if not all of these guys are good at stuffing the run. Makes sense considering last years run defense.

Yeah, those three picks just before ours were pretty damn inflating. Not knocking Stewart, but that was a solid three piece and a biscuit to the ole gut there at #13 - #16.
