Burrow didn't have an MVP quality season because he couldn't get the Ws in the end. He was 9-8 overall and just 2-7 against teams with a winning record. He missed the playoffs because he couldn't even throw 200 yards or even 1 TD against the Patriots.

If Burrow elevates players around him more than anyone else, why did we need to overpay Tee to keep him paired with the highest paid WR in NFL history to make the highest paid WR duo in NFL history?

Mahomes had 5 4th Quarter Comebacks and 7 Game Winning Drives. He went 17-2 in 2025 and you're just focused on one game in one year for each player. Mahomes has never had less than double-digit wins, he has never missed the AFCC.



Mahomes career playoff 17 game average: 67.7% completion, 4,707 yards (7.7 YPA), 37 TD/8 INT, 105.4 QB Rating
Burrow career playoff 17 game average: 67.3% completion, 4,435 yards (7.3 YPA), 22 TD/10 INT, 93.8 QB Rating 

Statistically better in every category, and obviously MUCH better in wins and rings. There's nothing wrong with accepting that the guy who will probably go down as the 2nd best QB in NFL history is the best QB in the NFL right now. Burrow being 2-3 in the NFL right now is still incredibly good.
