He is going to be competition at LG for Volson and Ford.
Fairchild is in that comp at LG. ZT already said so. Ford is better at OT and is the swing OT at the moment. Though he could play G, he is better at OT in my view.
ATM, I'd say LG is Volson, Fairchild, and Patrick while RG is Patrick, Ford, & Rivers.
If Fairchild shows he is ready, then LG is his. And Patrick probably starts at RG. If Fairchild needs to sit a year, then Volson/Ford/Patrick fight for two spots. If Volson does not start, he probably gets cilut as a LG only reserve.
