But again, after bringing in Perine and reworking Moss's contract, RB did not, and does not, make a whole lot of sense to me. Cutting Moss & drafting a RB made sense. Even if we are gonna carry 4, I'd still have been looking at S or DT, etc.
But that has nothing to do with Brooks as a player. Those are roster construction, cap, and strategic issues.
Purely on player value, he was our best pick. He can likely contribute, and getting a contributor, at any position, in the 6th is found money.
Definitely can understand your thoughts on Brooks Ike. He is probably my favorite pick and I have really warmed up to the Stewart pick.
Didn't expect Tahj to be around in the 6th round at all.

I predict that after seeing a few reps here and there early in the season, he finds a role as the 3rd down/change of pace back on the back half of the season. I'm thinking that the coaching staff isn't going to want him getting heavy action early on, due to the huge number of touches that he accumulated the past few seasons in college.
Same, nothing against Chase Brown as he shown he can be an every down back last season but Tahj has the things he doesn't, he is thick,
strong and really hard to tackle. Perfect short yardage back that can break good gains as well. I think we finally might have a decent RB room.
