Not even the front office can spin this into being the 24th best group. I think the theme of the safeties is that the FO "hopes" for the best but haven't prioritized improving even the depth with a pretty solid leftover FA group or a pick.

The Stone restructure confused me, it's like saying we can replace you but would rather not have to. He overachieved on a good Ravens D and was exposed with a bad Cincy one. Yes, any pass or rush improvement from the front 7 helps these guys but I'd feel better with a vet out there though I get that we're pinching pennies for a Trey raise most likely. The youngsters have potential but we are trying to win now.
