I am a Bengals fan because I am proudly from Cincy, spent 22ish years there (4 at College in another Ohio town), and come back often to see family, friends and go to games.
It is too late to change now, so just sort of stuck waiting and hoping they finally figure it out.
Both these teams are horrifically managed, run and operated; I am lquickly losing hope of seeing a Super Bowl winning team, or a WS winning Reds team (Cant remember 90).
There are just far more dedicated, aggressive and win-first Orgs out there - and they lap the bengals and reds in pretty much every facet of yearly competition.
The Reds and Benagls owners dont care about winning - and that is evident by the last 35 years of results
I think the Brown family cares about winning. They just care about winning on their terms. The Reds are totally content to take your money and farm players for New York, Boston, LA, and the teams that can afford to compete.
