I gotta be honest, if the Steelers looked like a SB contender and they had a player who was a league leader and sat out and completely torpedoed their season I'd be pretty ok with him being in stripes next year.
Also, there are a lot of desperate and stupid GMs out there, and refusing to play for Mike Brown probably isn't something that 31 other teams are going to determine to be totally unreasonable and a deal-breaker when the player in question has talent. Pass rushers are a premium position, we aren't talking about a whiney RB or punter, here. Someone would figure having a falling out with the Bengals' FO was pretty par for the course and sign him...whether or not that would be a great idea is another matter, but I think it'd get done.

Wasn't the word that our FO was asking for way too much knowing they had nothing to lose by asking for the moon? Maybe I'm down on Mikey and company, but I feel like his ability to make a big trade is completely hamstrung by Hue Jackson not being a GM.

MB - Sure, we'll trade him...give us ehhhhh four 1st round picks.
GM - No.
MB - No? Whaddayamean no? Is Hue Jackson there? Put Hue on the phone.
